What's it about?

The Volunteer Fire Department Pollham conducts its regular monthly drill. During these exercises, the emergency personnel train their skills and stay up-to-date with current technology and operational tactics. Monthly drills are a central part of the Austrian fire service and ensure that the members are prepared for emergencies at any time. The volunteer fire brigades form the backbone of fire protection in Austria and are present in almost every community. In Pollham, a locality in Upper Austria, the dedicated fire department reliably ensures the safety of the population. The exercises typically include practical emergency scenarios, technical briefings, and the maintenance and inspection of equipment to be optimally prepared for real emergencies.
