Reading with Music "The Conscience of the Doves"

What's it about?

The Austrian musician, literati, writer, and screenwriter will read from his book "The Conscience of the Doves". Inspired by his own family history, Bilgeri tells of the animosity between National Socialists and their opponents. All quotes that appear in the drama of a Viennese family come from Bilgeri's father's diary. Furthermore, you will see excerpts from the film "The Breath of Heaven". In 1953, an avalanche destroyed the village of Blond in Vorarlberg. The film tells the drama of a love story. And then there are songs from the Great American Songbook.
