Almtaler Märchensommer: Vom Gesang des Senavogels

What's it about?

A fine selection of Alpine folk and magic tales for children aged 9 and up and adults, spiced with fine yodels to sing along with Helmut Wittmann (A) and Momo Heiß (D). The magic tale "Vom Senavogel" was decisive for UNESCO to include storytelling in the register of intangible cultural heritage. This evening, this story will be heard from Helmut Wittmann, as well as a crazy story like "Von der årmen Goaß, die von der Welt nix woaß" and the mythical folk tale "Vom Wunderbaum". Momo Heiß not only spices up the stories with the sound of her natural instruments, such as the hiking staff flute and the Kigonki. She also knows how to impress as a storyteller. Together, one or two simple yodels will be sung in two parts. The audience is cordially invited to sing along.
