With her work, the painter Lydia Dürr undoubtedly provides an enduring artistic testimony. Her paintings show an artistic-painterly expression that uncompromisingly draws from pure creative power. Lydia Dürr herself describes the process of painting as "...a constant birth of a world and a painter, with each resulting picture as the scene of the event." We are pleased to introduce you to an excerpt from her work of recent years in the Galerie der Stadt Wels, accompanied by some examples from her earlier creations.
