What's it about?

The Kalkalpen National Park is the most important forest national park in the Alps. With its designation as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, it is part of a Europe-wide project for the protection of the last remaining primeval beech forests. These ancient forests with their diversity are a natural treasure.
