Adventmarkt Windischgarsten

What's it about?

Christmas romance is guaranteed - the beautiful marketplace with a large Christmas tree, impressive Advent wreath, and historic nativity scene exhibition delights both young and old. Viewing Christmas nativity scenes, listening to the atmospheric music program, or simply enjoying a mug of mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, pastries, spiral potatoes, game products, or smoked fish amidst the festive and cheerful hustle and bustle on the marketplace – that is the Windischgarsten Advent market. Handicrafts, wooden decorations, alpaca and clay products, as well as knitting, wax items, and Christmas decorations complete the range of goods. On Friday, December 5, Windischgarsten will become the stage for the historic Niglo parade (intangible UNESCO World Heritage). Starting at 5:30 PM at the Windischgarsten marketplace. Visitors arriving by public transport can look forward to a Pyhrn-Priel seat cushion. Pick it up at Gabriele Klinser's hat and cap stand! While supplies last! Please present your valid "..."
