What's it about?

Hello everyone, there is a new plan to take over the world: we are packing it into Wollwerk together! Well, it’s not entirely new anymore; we are in year 2 of our efforts. And we need to keep learning. That’s why (okay, mainly because it’s just fun) we are already practicing on a jointly crocheted, knitted, or knotted inter* progress pride flag. (This community project is suitable for beginners as well as for profit-making.) Where? Seelsorgestelle Elia, Pegasusweg 3, 4030 Linz (in the garden in good weather) Accessibility and directions to Elia For mild motor impairments, aids are available to compensate. We pay attention to a low-stimulation environment. Both rooms are barrier-free. Elia is easily accessible by public transport. Departure S1 from Linz main station at 17:53, transfer at Ebelsberg station to tram line 2 towards solarCity. Get off at solarCity Zentrum. Pass the pharmacy, and Elia is on the other side of the street. Parking is available on site free of charge (limited). Costs: Free participation A fee of 2 € for borrowing needles and yarn, payable by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, DinersCard, Discover), ApplePay, GooglePay, or in cash. Donations are welcome. When? Every 2nd Monday of the month, 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM 11/09/26 Elia 12/14/26 Elia 01/11/27 Elia More info: Beginners, advanced, and professionals are all warmly welcome. Do you want to turn yarn into figures, clothing for yourself or your neighbor’s tractor, or are you looking for inspiration to try something new? No matter what, here is an opportunity to do this in a cozy atmosphere together with other queer crochet and knitting enthusiasts of all ages. Beginners will be gently guided through the learning process. If possible, bring your own materials. A limited selection of yarn and needles for practice and testing is available for loan. Various instructions are available for free use. The most important thing is motivation; world domination ambitions are optional. Do you have further questions? Write to us at artisis@younited.cc (e.g., whether we should meet you at the entrance on your first visit). 1) We do not take responsibility for unhappy tractors. 2) Please contact us to discuss participation possibilities for persons under 14.
