What's it about?

Hello everyone! This time we're letting our inner landscape architects out. We're designing our own moss terrariums or vivariums. With a moss terrarium, even if you don't have a green thumb, you can make your living room greener. With minimal or no care at all. You can forget about them for months – and they'll still happily live on. If moss isn't your thing, or if it's very sunny and warm where you are, you can also create a stony desert landscape with succulents. These are a little more demanding to care for than moss terrariums, but still very low-maintenance. Where and when? Saturday, 19.9.2026 From 1:15 PM (coordinated with public transport schedules) until 7 PM at the latest (please arrive on time) Location: Elia Begegnungs- und Seelsorgestelle (solarCity) Pegasusweg 3, 4030 Linz Elia is barrier-free and easily accessible by public transport. S1 departure from Linz HBF at 12:53 PM, change at Ebelsberg station to the tram (line 2) towards solarCity. Get off at solarCity Zentrum. Past the pharmacy, Elia is on the other side of the street. Free (limited) parking spaces are available on site. Do I need to bring anything? All materials you need to realize your creativity will be provided. You are also welcome to bring your own materials as well as miniature furniture, stones, wooden sticks or your own plants, for your own terrarium or to share. Do you have large pickle jars or glass containers that you are fond of and that might be suitable? Bring them with you, and we'll see on site if it can work. (Please let us know in your registration if you are bringing one) Catering: Please bring your own food/snacks. A Spar supermarket is right next door. Water and toilets are available on site. Contribution towards costs: 5€ for club members, 10€ for non-members Registration: Only a limited number of people can participate in the event. To help us plan well, we ask for registration.
