Suitable for the season, Franz de Paul Armbruster presents large-format works from his series 'Munich Oktoberfest'. Ferris wheel, autodrome, Munich pretzels, carousel, and much more — drawn by the artist — are brought into the cultural district of Kremsmünster for two weekends. The exhibition invites visitors to experience the unique atmosphere of the well-known Bavarian folk festival through the artist's perspective. Works bursting with joie de vivre depict atmospheric scenes that condense into grand graphic capriccios. When viewing, one feels as if being right in the midst of the cheerful fairground. A heartfelt invitation to the Wiesn (Oktoberfest) atmosphere at Tötenhengst! The show will be officially opened in a stylish ceremony on October 15, 2023, at 11 a.m. by Mayor Gerhard Obernberger.
