Tanja Ghetta: "The Mouse Cactus"

What's it about?

A small cactus and an even smaller mouse meet in the eerie desert and become friends. Suddenly, the dark, cold night and the ghostly wind no longer seem so frightening, because together you feel much stronger. But the small cactus grows and grows, while the mouse remains the same size. So the cactus decides that it has enough spines to defend itself. It doesn't need a small mouse by its side. What does it look like to be friends with such a tiny creature? No, that's not possible! And so the mouse sadly leaves, and the cactus is left alone.
