Dracula - A Comedy of Terrors by Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen, based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula". German translation: Thomas Kahry. The international hit comedy comes as the Austrian premiere at the Alte Theater Steyr and offers all the ingredients for an evening of refined horror: dark seduction, biting humor, and plenty of surprises. The well-known story of the bloodthirsty count from Transylvania is presented in this modern version as notably sexy, wild, and hilariously funny — Dracula has never been experienced this energized and 'undead'. After Dracula accompanies young Jonathan Harker to London, his interest soon seems to extend beyond real estate. Quickly, not only Harker's fiancée Lucy Westfeldt ignites the passion of the athletic, self-absorbed count. The events escalate and culminate in a wild chase through London, where it’s a matter of all or nothing. Dracula actor Matthias Egger (known from Harry Potter in Hamburg) transforms into the most charming Dracula Steyr has ever seen in this seductive comedy.
