Dracula - A Comedy of Terrors by Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" German translation: Thomas Kahry The internationally successful comedy comes to the Altes Theater Steyr as an Austrian premiere and brings all the ingredients for an evening of cultivated horror: dark seduction, biting humor and plenty of surprises. The well-known story of the bloodthirsty count from Transylvania is presented in this modern version as emphatically sexy, wild and screamingly funny - Dracula has never been experienced so energetically "undead". After Dracula accompanies young Jonathan Harker to London, his interest soon no longer seems to be limited to the local real estate. Not only Harker's fiancée Lucy Westfeldt quickly ignites the passion of the athletic, self-absorbed count. Events come thick and fast and finally culminate in a wild chase through London, where it's all or nothing. Dracula actor Matthias Egger (known from Harry Potter in Hamburg, among others) transforms into probably the most charming Dracula Steyr has ever seen in this seductive comedy.
