What's it about?

A pond in the eternal interplay of the seasons. The novel tells the stories and history of these characters in an artful and vivid manner. Arthur, rooted at the pond since childhood, knows each of the three women, connects their fates across generations, and preserves what remained unspoken for a long time. Because there is yet a fourth woman. Initially nameless, only a childhood memory: a whisper, a shadow in the castle park. Her trail leads back to the final weeks of the war – to a family that found refuge in the castle in February 1945, to a truth that now finally seeks the light...
