The program includes exploring 10 selected beer rarities from the area. Beer is not just beer – who would know that better than Christian Ruhsam from Neumarkt im Mühlkreis? In his beer specialty shop, "Biertempel," in Linz, craft beer delicacies from around the world are gathered. Under the motto: "Your beer is our passion," he tells a story with every brew, explains its origin and ingredients, and of course keeps a close eye on what is currently trendy among beer enthusiasts. Christian has given special attention to beers from the Mühlviertel: "The Mühlviertel is a multifaceted beer region. From long-established breweries with a rich tradition to young, experimental beer kitchens, the range is broad. And they are all constantly creating new things." 10 years, 10 beers It is therefore obvious that in the anniversary month of mük, a delightful journey through the Mühlviertel beer landscape is planned. Christian Ruhsam will present 10 Mühlviertel beers during one of his popular beer tastings, which can be considered genuine specialties. Participants will not only taste creative regional beers but also learn interesting facts about the breweries behind them and how to articulate their flavor impressions. The participation fee includes all beers served for tasting and a beer-themed souvenir to take home. About the tasting leader: Christian Ruhsam holds a master's degree in history and discovered his love for beer during his diploma thesis, which he wrote during a study year in Ireland. He then trained as a beer sommelier and worked at Biertempel in Linz. In 2025, Ruhsam took over the business at Graben No. 15 as owner and is gradually transforming it into a place of enjoyment. Currently, the shelves feature not only numerous beers but also fine spirits and wines.
