Exhibition: The HOT Summer of 1938. The Mastermind and his Espionage Network

What's it about?

After Austria's "Anschluss" to Nazi Germany in March 1938, Czechoslovakia intensified its espionage activities on Austrian soil to gather information about military installations as well as the strength, composition, and movements of German troops.The exhibition sheds light on this espionage network with its headquarters in Brno, the "mastermind" Dr. Jeřábek, the outpost in Znaim, as well as its functioning and methods.The dismantling of the network by the Gestapo is also a topic.
