Anna Buchegger defined this with her debut "Windschatten" in 2024, and she continues it with her new work "Soiz" (release: October 3, 2025). Anna Buchegger remains one of the most exciting voices in German-speaking pop: she thinks of music not only as sound but as attitude – between stage, tradition, and liberation. "Soiz" proves that pop music from the rural area can be political and international at the same time today. After the much-noticed debut album "Windschatten," which was awarded two Amadeus Award nominations, the Hubert von Goisern Culture Prize 2024, and a portrait on ARTE TRACKS, the Austrian musician Anna Buchegger announces her second album: "Soiz" will be released on October 3, 2025 – exactly one year after her debut work. "Soiz" continues the artistic and political line of "Windschatten" consistently – with even more clarity, resistance, and stylistic courage. The musical language is more angular, the tone rawer, and the perspective uncompromising. Buchegger continues to use dialect as an artistic statement and confronts alpine tradition both musically and visually with self-irony and avant-garde daring. The art figure, between clown, couture, and traditional costume, becomes a mirror of a generation that does not preserve its roots but questions them critically.
