Kino Im Pool: The Rocky Horror Picture Show

What's it about?

Don't dream it, be it! "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (1975) is a flamboyant horror musical parody, in which the newly engaged, conservative couple Brad and Janet, after a car breakdown on a stormy night, end up at the castle of the eccentric scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter. There, they experience a night of sexual liberation, bizarre characters, and rock music, as Frank presents his artificially created muscle man Rocky Horror. Put on your hottest fishnet stockings, warm up your vocal cords, and bring along your newspaper and a bit of rice! We celebrate the cult classic. Not just watch, but participate! At our event, the audience becomes part of the show. When it’s time for "Let's do the Time Warp again," no one will stay in their cinema seats. Come in costume! Whether as sweet Janet, uptight Brad, crazy Dr. Frank-N-Furter, or innocent Rocky. The best outfits will be awarded! For over 50 years, this film has stood for tolerance, flamboyant fun, and pure glamour. Whether you're old "Transylvanians" or cinema kids: here, you're among friends!
