Kid's Theater 'Finsterwald'
What's it about?
The title of this year's play by TheCho Kids is 'Finsterwald'. With the help of many very creative ideas from the children and teenagers, this fantastic fairy tale has been developed this year. The world premiere will take place on Saturday, November 14th at 4:30 PM in the parish hall in Gramastetten. Additional performances: Friday, November 20th and Saturday, November 21st, each from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM. The play is aimed at children aged 7 and older, as well as adult audiences. It is performed by 27 children from 10 communities, aged 6 to 17 years. Voluntary donations paid by our visitors as admission will be used partly for ongoing costs (props, costumes, etc.), and part of it will be donated to a charitable cause, as in previous years. Early reservations are absolutely necessary, as the last events were always fully booked! Tickets can be reserved from Monday, September 14th at www.thecho.at. During the intermission, the team around our Lisi will serve all kinds of delicacies! What is our play about this year? Four teenagers find a prophecy and go on a time journey into the fairy tale world. There, they are awaited by two fauns who hold the same prophecy. Two royal houses have had three little princesses kidnapped. During a lively game, they crossed the magical border too close to the 'Finsterwald', and the villain 'Dornherz' with his helper 'Irik' has taken the children. Since then, the two royal houses have been enemies. The two fauns try to reconcile the royal families with the help of the children. They realize that almost everything can be achieved together, and that mutual tolerance, forgiveness, and love open the way to the almost unreachable. With rewritten songs from the 70s, the play becomes a magical experience. We look forward to your attendance!
