What's it about?
Always Austria - the anniversary program of the Comedy Hirten. The Federal President once said: "That's not who we are!". But if that's not who we are, then who are we? The Comedy Hirten provide an answer to this question in their new program. For 20 years, the impressionists have been traveling from Arlberg to Zwettl and have not only grown to love Austria, but also to know it. Is Carinthia really unique, Vienna truly different, and does the Schneiztal really exist? In their cabaret-style declaration of love for our homeland, the Comedy Hirten analyze the Austrians. All the great sons and daughters of the country are parodied. Marco Arnautovic prepares with the national team for the European Championship. Hans Knauß, Thomas Sykora, Katharina Liensberger show us that while the Habsburgs may have ruled the world, we still dominate the World Cup. The Hirten take a journey through Austrian film and television history, and with parodies of Seiler und Speer, Mathea, Hubert von Goisern, Wanda, Bilderbuch, Rainhard Fendrich, Falco, Georg Danzer, Herbert Haider - the one-man band of the Comedy Hirten - will pay homage to Austropop. All top candidates for the 2024 National Council election will have their say, but that shouldn't stop you from watching the Comedy Hirten's new anniversary program. In addition to the regular members Peter Moizi, Herbert Haider, and Christian Schwab, Angelika Niedetzky is a new addition.
