Blood Donation Campaign St. Stefan-Afiesl

What's it about?

The municipality of St. Stefan-Afiesl and the blood donation service of the Red Cross Upper Austria invite you warmly! Healthy individuals aged 18 to 70 can donate blood at intervals of 8 weeks. The health questionnaire to be completed before donating blood—ideally at home using the 'MeinBlut' app up to 48 hours prior—and the confidential conversation on-site with our medical staff ensure the safety of our blood products and blood donors. Please bring an official photo ID to the blood donation. The laboratory results will be available after a few days in the 'Mein Blut' app or, without the app, approximately 6 weeks by mail, making the blood donation also a small health check for you. To minimize waiting times, we recommend using the appointment reservation service via the 'Mein Blut' app or at termine.blut.at. You should have at least a small meal and sufficient fluids about 3-4 hours before donating blood and avoid physical exertion after donation. Please come to donate blood, because only with your blood donation can we supply all hospitals in Upper Austria with enough life-saving blood units.
