About the artist: READING & MUSIC | Nina "FIVA" Sonnenberg presents "The Heart, a Wolf," a special stage program that blurs the lines between a traditional reading and a live concert. Nina Fiva Sonnenberg reads from her debut novel, shares how the story came about, and what it took for the text to become a book and reach the stage. She is musically accompanied by her long-time musical partner DJ Phekt. They play fitting songs related to the story, classics from Fiva's repertoire, and provide the soundtrack to the book. The program is an emotional mix of humorous anecdotes and profound storytelling. In addictive sound, Nina Sonnenberg candidly, tenderly, and with captivating wit tells of a suburban youth in the 90s, family influences, life, and death. About the novel: The Heart, a Wolf. A hot Munich summer: while the whole world is at the outdoor pool, including her boyfriend and her child, Nele Kastner sits by her father's deathbed, waiting with him for death. And although it is natural, this death, everything seems like theater just before the end. The main role: the missing conversation. Because since the father can no longer speak, Nele takes over, telling their shared story. About growing up in a small-bourgeois suburban environment of the 1980s and 1990s.
