What's it about?

A shared nature experience for young and old during the autumn holidays. How do animals prepare for winter? What tracks reveal their presence in the orchard meadow? Together with grandma and grandpa, we go on a discovery tour, observe, listen, and explore the meadow with all our senses. We are guided by the curiosity of the grandchildren, exchange memories and stories, discover habitats of animals, and playfully learn how they survive the cold season. A joint trip to the orchard meadow with grandma and grandpa – a great opportunity to share knowledge about nature, learn from each other, and spend valuable time outdoors. Afterwards, we warm up indoors with apple punch and tell animal stories using the Kamishibai storytelling theater. Please bring a backpack with a small snack and drink, and wear weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. This is a nature tour as part of the Naturschauspiel program “Expedition Streuobstwiese” (Orchard Meadow Expedition). Meeting point: Fruit Education Garden, Furth 31, 4076 St. Marienkirchen/P.
