Cosmic Interaction Fields with a 3D Journey into the Universe

Cosmic Interaction Fields with a 3D Journey into the Universe

What's it about?

The starry sky has fascinated humanity since the beginning. Its beauty, its order, and its infinite mystery have always raised questions and provided inspiration. With the "STERNENBOTSCHAFTER-Reihe 2026" (STAR AMBASSADOR Series 2026), we want to combine this ancient wonder with state-of-the-art technology, profound knowledge, and a special insight. The "STERNENBOTSCHAFTER-Reihe 2026" invites you to discover the fascinating world of the universe in ten impressive events. In the unique ambiance of the Ars Electronica Center Linz / DeepSpace, participants will experience one-hour sessions each, in which Dr. Dietmar Hager, a renowned physician and internationally acclaimed astrophotographer, connects knowledge with medicine, Greek mythology, and wonder. Accompanied by spectacular 3D animations into the infinite expanses of the universe, this STERNENBOTSCHAFTER-Reihe 2026 opens up new perspectives and fascinating connections between astronomy, science, light pollution, mythology, and our modern world. The "STERNENBOTSCHAFTER-Reihe 2026" is thus much more than a lecture series: It is a journey into the universe, a dialogue between science and fascination – and an invitation to actively become "ambassadors" of the stars yourself. Interaction fields explained using the Earth - Sun duo and their magnetic field In this lecture, the concept of interaction fields is explained using the dynamic relationship between the Sun and Earth. We look at how the Earth's magnetic field acts as a shield against the solar wind, a stream of charged particles from the Sun. The abstract highlights phenomena such as the auroras and geomagnetic storms that arise from this interaction. It will be shown how these invisible fields influence life on Earth and demonstrate the close but invisible connection between our planet and the central star of our solar system. As a special feature, the rhythmic-cyclical periodicity of this system will also be illuminated, and in particular, the so-called "Galactic Weather" will be discussed, i.e., the possible influences of the interstellar medium on the climate on Earth. At the end of the infotainment show, we will travel together in 3D through the universe.
