What's it about?

Every first Tuesday of the month, the ann and pat is specially open for FLINTA* persons! Just hang out, relax, meet old friends and make new ones, laugh, participate in decisions, politicize, chat, play crazy, and most importantly, feel comfortable! Previously, the first Tuesday in May was called "Girls only day." So, no boys! That remains unchanged. FLINTA* is an abbreviation that concerns various groups, all of whom benefit from a protected environment, such as the FLINTA*Day! At ann and pat, everyone should feel welcome, therefore: F stands for Frauen (women). In our case, this means girls and young women. L stands for Lesbisch (lesbian), women who love women. I stands for Inter. Not all people are born as girls or boys. Some babies are born with sex characteristics that are not clearly male or female. These are called Inter persons. N stands for Nicht-Binär (non-binary). Binär means two-part. All people who do not fall into the female-male category are included here. In English, this is often called Nonbinary. T stands for Trans. Transgender persons do not identify with the gender assigned to them at birth. This includes trans women and trans men. A stands for Ageschlechtlich (agender), or Agender. These are persons who do not belong to any gender. The asterisk at the end serves as a placeholder for all gender identities that are not female or male.
