Der kleine Prinz
What's it about?
The Linz guest theater 'Theater Flamingo' presents the world-famous story THE LITTLE PRINCE, freely adapted from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, on stage. Children's and family theater for all young and old audiences aged 5 and up. Plot: Pilot Antoinette has to make an emergency landing with her airplane in the middle of the Sahara. There she meets the Little Prince, who asks her to draw a sheep. Gradually, he tells her about his home planet, a small planet, and about his beloved Rose, whom he left behind there. On his journey to Earth, he visits many planets. There, he encounters different adults and realizes how strange and insignificant some of their ideas about life are. Upon arriving on Earth, he finally meets a fox, who shows him the importance of friendship, love, and responsibility. Through his conversations with the Little Prince, Antoinette begins to reflect on her own life and learns that the essential things are often not visible to the eye.
