What's it about?
Victoria Coeln's projects in public space.Light is far more than an aesthetic medium: It shapes perception, creates new perspectives and opens boundaries.Based on international positions of light-based art, the evening is dedicated to Victoria Coeln's political and participatory projects. The focus is on her "Chromotopes": light spaces that make places, history and social values such as human rights, democracy or solidarity newly experienceable.Her works combine artistic interventions, social participation and urban spaces into open spaces for dialogue, according to Hannah Arendt, spaces of appearance of the political, in which perception, socio-political action and memory are renegotiated.
