FrauenWege offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in the history of Ebensee from a different perspective – an exciting offer for locals and tourists alike! Strong women have shaped Ebensee – and they continue to do so today. Their realities of life are complex, shaped by work, care, commitment, and the constant negotiation of possibilities. And yet, many of these stories remain in the background. FrauenWege invites you to rediscover these perspectives. The walk with Austria Guide Katharina Steinkogler through the town center opens up a view into the lives of women from Ebensee. Starting from historical traces, she establishes connections to the present and makes it tangible how much past living conditions still have an impact today.
