What's it about?

Every year, four musicians from the Grünau im Almtal Music Association delight visitors with their performances at Almsee from late June to early September, playing weekly on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM in good weather. From the so-called "Echoplatz'l," they demonstrate their musical skills and enchant listeners with their clearly resonant echo sounds. A natural, musical, and soulful experience of a special kind, especially since the unique setting — formed by the majestic mountain backdrop of the Toten Gebirge and the vividly shimmering Almsee nestled within the landscape protection area at the end of the valley — creates a distinctive atmosphere. Upon arriving at Almsee, walk towards the Deutsches Haus, and from there, a roughly 10-minute walk leads directly to the Echoplatz'l. Please arrive early, as the road will be closed during the event.
