Make & Meet at MakerSpace

What's it about?

GRAND GARAGE is the MakerSpace with an educational workshop in Tabakfabrik Linz. It offers low-threshold access to diverse technologies such as laser cutters, electronics (IoT), 3D printing & scanning, embroidery machines, and screen printing. The GRAND GARAGE community regularly meets for joint tinkering & exchange in the MakerSpace. We explore what's possible in the MakerSpace, support each other in working on our own projects, exchange ideas, and find inspiration for new projects. Whether 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, or textile projects – you can get a taste of all areas, ask questions, or continue working on your own project. Important: The use of machines is only possible with a valid membership and corresponding machine authorization (MSU). Some areas, such as electronics or sewing machines, can also be used without prior training. We do not offer custom manufacturing. The Make and Meet serves for open exchange, specific questions, or simply to get a taste. New are the monthly specials on various topics – such as screen printing or 3D printing post-processing. In short – the 3 core themes of the workshop: Getting started with 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics, textiles, and everything else available in the MakerSpace. Exchanging ideas and projects. Getting to know each other and chatting. Please register in good time, at least two days before the event.
