From June 26th to August 9th, a part of the historic market square will be transformed into Strünzer Strand by the Linz city building department. The sandy beach evokes a beach and holiday feeling – all in the beautiful setting of Linz's Old Town.The lounging area is complemented by plenty of sand, numerous deckchairs and parasols, as well as palm trees. There is also a treasure chest with sand toys for the youngest visitors. But of course, all visitors are welcome to show off their sandcastle-building skills!Strünzer Strand is intended to be a meeting point for all generations.
