FLINTA* Day

What's it about?

Every 1st Tuesday of the month, ann and pat is open especially for FLINTA* people! Simply hang out, chill, meet old acquaintances and make new ones, laugh, have a say, politicize, chat, play crazy and, above all, feel good! Previously, the first Tuesday in May was called "Girls only day". So, no boys! Nothing changes about that. FLINTA* is an abbreviation that refers to various groups, all of whom benefit from a protected environment, such as the FLINTA* Day! Everyone should feel welcome at ann and pat, which is why F stands for Frauen (women). In our case, girls and young women are of course meant. L stands for Lesbisch (lesbian), which are women who love women. I stands for Inter. Not all people are born as girls or boys. Some babies are born with sex characteristics that cannot be clearly classified as male or female. These are referred to as intersex people. N stands for Nicht-Binär (non-binary). Binary means two-part. All people who do not fall into the female-male category are meant here. The word Nonbinary is often read in English. T stands for Trans. Transgender people do not identify with the gender assigned to them at birth. This refers to trans women and trans men. A stands for Ageschlechtlich (asexual), or Agender. These are people who do not belong to any gender. The asterisk at the end serves as a placeholder for all gender identities that are not female or male.
