In this very lively dramatization by Florian Dietel, Alice in Wonderland meets the Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit and many other characters. No one is allowed to tell the truth, because the Queen of Hearts rules cruelly. Are they all crazy because they constantly lie or because they are afraid - or both? Lewis Carroll's book was first published in July 1865. The book was immediately popular upon its release and found many enthusiastic readers, such as the young Oscar Wilde and Queen Victoria.
