An insight into the production of paper and books for the whole family. Which raw materials are used for paper production, and how is new paper made from old paper? What types of paper can be recycled, and is there also paper that does not belong in the waste paper? In a child-friendly and entertaining way, we follow the journey of a book – from its origin in the forest to the bookshelf. During paper making, theory is immediately put into practice: every child makes their own sheet of paper to take home.Note: The freshly made paper needs some time to dry before it becomes stable. If the premises allow, on-site storage and collection by the children after two to three days would be ideal. However, the sheets can also be taken home immediately in a sturdy folder.➡️ This event is aimed at the whole family and invites everyone to participate. What to bring: possibly provisions a few sheets of waste paper (no cardboard) folder for transporting the paper home
