What's it about?
Nine countries – two friends – one path. Xaver Lahmer from Großrust, near St. Pölten, and his friend Willi Triml walked the 'Path of Friendship' covering 5,517 km, 7,635,364 steps, in 240 days to Senegal, West Africa. They will personally share their extraordinary experiences between snow, scorpions, and deserts, illustrated with many impressive photos. This charity walk was initiated by the volunteer organization 'Dimbale.com - benefits for kids'. The aid projects for children and families in need in Senegal include building new houses, school classrooms, wells, and fishing boats, distributing food, funding school fees, and the education and training of women. Donations have been 100% directed to aid projects in Senegal since the beginning. We look forward to active participation.
