What's it about?

The warm glow of the fire, the sound of water, and the tranquility of the forest are just right for a brief escape from the often stressful pre-Christmas season. Give it a try! 3:00 PM Advent hour at the village museum, organized by children from Roiten and surrounding areas, as well as Birgit Gruber and Roswitha Haghofer. Afterwards, you can enjoy tea or mulled wine and sausages to prepare for the Kealeicht´n Hatscha in the Kamptal. Starting at 4:30 PM, Kealeicht´n Hatscha (a hike into the Kamptal). No guided hike. Kealeicht´n (see photo below) are available in limited quantities free of charge. Please note: In the absence of moonlight, it is pitch dark in the Kamptal! A lantern brought along is very helpful. A flashlight, while not romantic, is very practical if other light sources fail. 1st refreshment stop after about 1.1 km at the Zigeunerfelsen (tee and schnapps). 2nd stop (turning point) after about 2.3 km in the Kamptal (tea, mulled wine, schnapps), then the same route back. Afterwards, enjoy a cozy gathering either in front of the museum by the campfire or inside the museum by the warm stove. Hiking at your own risk! We look forward to your participation!
