Alpha Trianguli
What's it about?
They create inspired soundscapes between energy, weightlessness and atmospheric expanse, combining vibraphone, trombone, double bass and drums into a floating, dynamic sound between modern jazz and cinematic soundscapes. Inspired by the beauty and vastness of the universe, the band Alpha Trianguli begins its journey into the infinity of sound worlds. Motivated by the curiosity of the four musicians to let themselves go and be carried away, the band sometimes sounds earthy and energetically bubbling - as if approaching a planet - sometimes calm, floating, amazed. The interplay of the Vienna-based quartet creates the impression that it is itself a micro-cosmos: the rhythms of the drums circulate around the gravitational field of the double bass, providing pulse and periodicity. The magical, expansive sound of the vibraphone fills the spaces created in the interplay and sparkles like the sublime firmament. From this, the earthy, warm tone of the trombone resounds like a voice into space. The program "Entering Zero Gravity" has already been presented in numerous concerts.
