Children and Music - Young talents from the Czech Republic and Austria perform.Admission free donation The main goal of the Czech-Austrian festival "Thayataler Musikfest by Josef Silberbauer" is to connect Czech and Austrian border regions (near Znaim, Podyjí, Thayatal in Austria). The festival commemorates the outstanding organ builder Josef Silberbauer from the Thayatal and helps to make his name known to the general public in both border regions. The aim of the festival is both the interpretation of compositions on J. Silberbauer's instruments, the support of musicians from the region, and the presentation of other music ensembles such as orchestras, vocal ensembles and baroque chamber ensembles.The festival aims to connect Czech artists with Austrian artists and also to strive for their mutual cross-border cooperation.
