Public Moor Tour in the Nature Park

What's it about?

In 1.5 hours, discover the nature park on this hike with our nature guides and learn interesting facts about the Waldviertel Wackelsteine (wiggling stones), carnivorous plants, and the unique moor frogs. The hike takes place on paved paths past the natural monument "Hängender Stein" (Hanging Stone) to the open moor area. From the Prügelsteg (wooden walkway), you can observe special moor plants up close. In the moor drainage area, there is an opportunity to experience the centuries-old peat and its healing effects firsthand. After the hike, the sun terrace at the nature park center invites you to enjoy homemade pastries and light refreshments. A large natural playground awaits children.
