What's it about?

1. Singer- & Song-Writer Festival in honor of "our" great Allentsteiger poet & Minnesänger Walther von der Vogelweide Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, Lichtspiel Allentsteig "Let us praise love," invites Dr. Manfred Greisinger on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of his EDITION STOAREICH with a dozen other participants - musicians, singers, authors such as Margot Selina, Genia Lackey, Pia Söndergaard, Martina Wurz, and David Sporrer - to Lichtspiel Allentsteig. Mag. Robert Berger will explain in his lecture why one can rightly speak of the "Allentsteiger (!) Walther von der Vogelweide." Using reconstructed instruments, among others, a Minnesänger in original costumes will perform his songs. A dance class & yoga as in Walther's time are also planned, as well as a "Minne-Matinee" with Sonja Biringer & "Fliederstaudn & Wurzelwerk" & actor Felix Kurmayer. And there will be a big surprise: to whom can the "1st Walther" be awarded as a prize for a top singer/songwriter?
