What's it about?

Mother and child care in Hainfeld is a free consultation service for parents with infants and young children. Trained professionals – usually certified pediatric nurses or midwives – support mothers and fathers with knowledge and patience when questions arise about breastfeeding, nutrition, sleep, developmental milestones, or vaccinations. Children are weighed and measured, and parents receive specific advice tailored to their child's age and situation. Mother and child care is a widely established service in Austria, organized by municipalities and the Red Cross, and is easily accessible: no registration, no costs, in a calm and trusting atmosphere. Especially in the first years of life, when many questions arise and uncertainty can be great, this service offers a valuable point of contact for families in Hainfeld and the surrounding region.
