What's it about?
In Erde · Mauer · Dach, Angelika Kreilinger shows us architecture, dwellings, and cultural landscapes as she would like to see and experience them in the future. We must be careful not to become a non-cultural land of Lower Austria. Many do not live there; rather, they are employed, housed, and sheltered in human garages. Gestrüpp and Proviant involve drawn excerpts of nature on the now designated plate, which are then etched, with the lines engraved and printed as an etching. Each of the 15 plates is a word, and together on the print sheet, they form a sentence. A total of 30 sentences have been created through different selections and arrangements. These 30 works thematize drawing itself. In the found - the Gestrüpp - it is about deriving and drawing a grammar. Drawing is the organizing intellect. It gives the chaos of the Gestrüpp in 15 etchings a grammar.
