What's it about?

Hammering, turning, sewing, marveling: The Children's Craft Market focuses on craft-interested youngsters. Here, children are not only allowed to watch, but also to try things out themselves, touch and get creative. Experienced craftspeople open their mobile workshops for young explorers and tell their stories: Candle maker Nathan Streibel shows how a cloth torch is made from wax, turning artist Johann Polzer brings wood to life, and glass artist Sandor Buz inspires with liquid glass and fascinating shapes. A special highlight is the Model Railway World Schiltern, which uniquely combines technology and imagination. At master tailor Johanna Scherz's, individual workpieces are created on the sewing machine - with much patience, joy, and space for one's own ideas. Look forward to a performance by children's songwriters from the competition "My song for ... the children of this world of Kultur.Region.Niederösterreich!"
