Pleyel Museum Tour with Music and Wine Hike

The afternoon begins with an exclusive guided tour of the Pleyel Museum. On the original Pleyel grand piano, Doris Kitzmantel – versatile pianist and Vice President of the International Pleyel Society – impressively brings the music of Ignaz Joseph Pleyel (1757–1831) and his contemporaries back to life.Immerse yourself in fascinating stories about the life and work of the composer and piano maker, born in Ruppersthal, who was once the most played. Look forward to exciting insights, stories, and beautiful music.Afterwards, loess guide Fritz Genger, a trained cellar lane guide and local wine expert, picks up the guests and leads them into vineyards and loess gorges, to the most beautiful cellar in the village where visitors can expect a welcome schnapps and a small gift. During this wine hike, the loess guide tells exciting and interesting facts about the village, the Wagram and its wines, the cellar lanes, including earth cellars and mammoths. To conclude the varied afternoon, guests go to an expertly commented wine tasting. 5-6 Wagram quality wines will be tasted. Water and nut bread will be served with it.This small wine hike ends back at the starting point, at the parking lot of the Pleyel Kultur Zentrum.Total duration approx. 4 hours (2 PM - 6 PM)This tour takes place with a minimum of 10 people.Cost: €49 per personReservations are absolutely necessary.
