Guided Tasting Walk with the Lössguide to Steinhorn Gin
What's it about?
The guided tasting walk with the Lössguide, during which you will learn exciting and interesting facts about wine, Wagram, loess, Pleyel, mammoths, earth cellars, and the village of Ruppersthal, among other topics, leads to the well-known vineyard areas Mordthal and Steinberg, to the wine cellar alley Schmiedgasse, past the Pleyel Museum and church. It continues into the most beautiful wine cellar in the village where spirits are tasted and a small welcome gift awaits guests. The tour then proceeds to a local winemaker, where Ruppersthal quality wines are tasted and commented on by the winemaker. There are 5 to 6 wine tastings, accompanied by water and nut bread. As the highlight of the day, you will visit the Steiner Bros. distillery. Steinhorn Gin has been the Falstaff winner in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. The Steinhorn Fee/Absinthe is also a Falstaff winner. The Steiner brothers will tell you the incredible story of Steinhorn Gin and its rapid national and international rise.
