What's it about?

Exciting lectures at three public viewing evenings in the KLAR! Waldviertler Kernland. What will the energy supply of the future look like? What possibilities does photovoltaics offer, and can electric cars be used as energy storage in the future? These and other questions are addressed by KLAR! Waldviertler Kernland during three public viewing evenings in fall 2026. The series concludes with an evening on the topic: The electric car as an energy storage – Science or Fiction? Tue, Nov 24, 7:00 PM, Gasthof zur Kirche – Fam. Schrammel, 3623 Kottes, Marktplatz 3. Speaker: Kurt Leonhartsberger. Electric cars can not only consume electricity but also feed it back into the house or the power grid. The lecture explains bidirectional charging, shows benefits in connection with photovoltaics, and provides an overview of what is already possible in Austria. Participation is free; registration is requested via klar@waldviertler-kernland.at or 0681/81679919.
