What's it about?
STARnacht meets World Heritage: When summer shows its most beautiful side in the Wachau just before autumn begins, Rossatzbach on the Danube becomes Austria's musical hotspot. On September 18 and 19, 2026, the big TV music show celebrates the grand finale of the STARnacht year - nestled between steep wine terraces and the mighty Danube, directly opposite the picturesque castle ruins of Dürnstein. The set list was diligently worked on until the very end. Well-known names will be on the "STARnacht aus der Wachau" stage: Unheilig, Nino de Angelo, Glasperlenspiel, Francine Jordi, Marina Marx, Kuult, Julia Buchner, Josh., Chris Steger, NESS, Lucas Fendrich, Anna-Carina Woitschack, Joey Heindle, Peggy March and Thorsteinn Einarsson. Star presenter Barbara Schöneberger and actor Hans Sigl will host both evenings. Before admission to the Starnacht Arena, there will be a culinary mile with a supporting program from ORF Radio Niederösterreich on site. On the "Volksbank Radio NÖ" stage, a traditional costume fashion show by Spieth & Wensky together with Maisetschläger Trachten will be presented, among other things. Show start: approx. 6:30 p.m. 2:tages:bart will lead the warm-up.
