Special Opening: ARNOLD Collection

What's it about?

This weekend, visitors to Altenburg Abbey will receive exclusive insight into the remarkable collection of Baroque paintings. The ARNOLD Collection is based on the donation from the collector couple Herta and Konrad Arnold and mainly comprises 18th-century paintings with a focus on Austrian and South German painting. Highlights of the collection include works by Paul Troger, Johann Michael Rottmayr, Franz Spiegler, and Martin Johann Schmidt. Location: Imperial Wing, Altenburg Abbey Opening hours: 10:00-17:00 Entrance fee: 12 (for the museum ticket)
