What's it about?

Following the resounding success of the first collaboration with the Museum Horn – "Vivaldi by Candlelight" in September 2025 – the "Candlelight Concerts" and the museum continue their partnership with another concert in the museum's exhibition hall. The event on October 17, 2026, also features a reunion with the artists from 2025. Renowned violinist Yoko Saotome-Huber – who was a soloist in Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" at the 2025 museum concert – will interpret Bach's famous "Chaconne" from the Partita in D minor for solo violin this time. Robert Pobitschka will perform the solo part in Mozart's Piano Concerto in A major, KV 414. The program also includes Mozart's Divertimento for Strings, KV 136, and a Concerto Grosso from Handel's op. 12. An ensemble of members of the Vienna Symphony will also be present. The exhibition hall of the museum, acting as a crossroads of styles from various eras, provides an intellectually and artistically stimulating environment. This ambiance is enhanced during the concert by candlelight – the hallmark of the series. TICKETS cost €28 (students €15) and are available from 6:30 PM at the concert box office.
