What's it about?

Together with the School for Health and Nursing Care Horn, the imc University of Applied Sciences Krems (Horn campus), and the AMS Lower Austria, the Landesklinikum Horn is hosting an information afternoon titled "Health Professions in the Waldviertel" on November 18, 2026. This event offers an excellent opportunity for interested individuals, especially students, to gain insight into various health professions and to learn about training programs, career prospects, and funding options. During the event, representatives from different areas of health professions will present job profiles and training opportunities such as nursing assistant, medical assistant, OTA training, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech therapy, radiology technology, midwifery, and others. Additionally, information will be provided about the university course in health and nursing care, which has been offered in Horn since October 2024. The Employment Service (AMS) will also be present to provide information about career prospects and funding opportunities in the health sector.
