What's it about?

On two weekends during Advent, Rosenburg opens its gates to one of Lower Austria's most beautiful Christmas markets. This year again, the market offers readings by the fireplace, Christmas concerts, craftsmanship and tradition, as well as fine culinary delights. Craftsmanship and fine cuisine Waldviertel artists and artisans showcase their works and special skills in the atmospheric rooms of Rosenburg Castle. Visitors have the unique opportunity to watch artisans at work, for example, during woodturning demonstrations. Culinary huts with Christmas specialties, as well as our castle tavern and restaurant Schlossgasthof, ensure guests' well-being.
